As I have been checking off homework I have noticed that many of you are forgetting to mark the minutes your child is reading each night.  I would appreciate if you would remember to do this, and then total them for me at the end of the week and initial it so that I know it is you writing it and not your student. 
I feel that reading is a very important part of your students' homework and I hope you will help your student to accomplish at least 20 minutes of reading each night.

I am so excited for this new school year.  This whole website thing is a new thing for all of us so please bear with me.  Hopefully it will be a successful experience for everyone.
